The development strategy of Zhabinkovsky Sugar Factory OJSC is determined by the State Program “Agricultural Business” for 2021-2025, approved by Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated February 1, 2021 No. 59. This Program provides for the development of a system of scientifically based and economically feasible measures that will contribute to the further development of the sugar industry in close connection with agricultural production, to ensure an increase in the production of beet sugar, processing of sugar beets in optimal terms (105-110 days) with the abandonment of its procurement in early (before September 20) and late (January) terms, procurement and processing of sugar beets with maintaining a 3-day supply of raw materials in sugar industry organizations throughout the entire production season and reducing losses of raw materials and sugar at all stages - from growing sugar beets to production of sugar from it, improving the financial condition of organizations in the sugar industry and agricultural enterprises.

The main strategic development goals of Zhabinkovsky Sugar Plant OJSC are:

• increasing the efficiency of the production process through the introduction of the latest high-tech and resource-saving technologies;
• implementation of modern methods of product quality management to increase its competitiveness in the market;
• reducing the cost of products and making a profit, ensuring the return on investment activities of the enterprise;
• preserving the prestige of the enterprise in developed markets and creating a positive image in new markets.

Thus, the further development of the plant is directly related to the solution of the following tasks:

• financial recovery;
• development of the raw material zone with an increase in yield, sugar content and technological qualities of sugar beets;
• reducing losses of sugar beets during harvesting and during storage;
• optimization of juice extraction time during sugar processing based on the introduction of advanced technologies.
